Day 4...writing on Day 5

So basically the past few days has been all about school. We get to school at 8:45am...our time...and leave at 3:15pm. Afterwards I have been tired probably because I haven't gotten used to the jet lag and everything. It really wears me out. I'm trying to adjust but it is hard! Usually our goal for after school is to try and do stuff to stay awake so we are helping get rid of our time difference but for instance, tonight, I went to bed at 8pm and ended up waking up at 11pm and now it is 1:02am and here I am...awake! Overall though, I am having so much fun and on Thursday bright and early, we are leaving to go to Paris!! We have to ride a train to London and then the EuroStar(which goes under the English channel!) to Paris. I am not bringing my computer so I won't be able to write until I get back but I will be sticking in Paris Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. On Saturday, I am going to the Palace of Versailles which by looking at pictures seems to be breath taking. I can't hardly believe that I get to see it for myself! Today I ate at Nando's which is a chicken place in Nottingham that was delicious. You get to pick the sauce that goes on your tender chicken and it is mouth watering. I reccomend! Plus it's cool to see a name like Nando's in England! I wish I had more interesting things to write but considering I'm in school and then trying to catch up on sleep I don't seem to go out as much as I want. What is cool though, is today I got to meet a bunch of foreign students studying the English language. There were people from Iraq, Saudia Arabia, Vietnam, Polland, France, so many places! They were all extremely surprised at the fact that most of us only spoke one language considering most of them could speak about three. It was so amazing to see other people and have them talk about their homeland and it's pretty cool when they are so infatuated by the fact we came from so far away! I have really taken a liking to egg sandwiches here. I love hard boiled eggs and they are everywhere here. I also like their pasta salads considering I was craving them right before I left the U.S.! I wish I could entertain more but I have a little bit of homework left and I really don't have much else to say. My pictures are kind of boring as of today but I am sure the ones from Paris will be unbearable. I also want to let anyone reading this know that I love you so very much and I miss you all!! Love, Ashlee J.

Megz in class

The view from outside my classroom which is an old lace factory...pretty interesting. Did I mention there is a morgue under my school?!?!

E-roc taking a cat nap and Megz being silly.

OFF WITH HER HEADD!

Books, water, and a cell phone I use to see the time...it doesn't work here so I don't know why I carry it around...I have issues.

Another look outside my classroom...and it looks as if there is a castle in the background...something I don't really see everyday!!

Megzzz and I
A nice picture before we go out to dinner at Nando's!
